Job summary

HealthPartners Regions Hospital seeks an Emergency Medical Technician to join a dedicated patient-care team. The EMT provides transport-ready care, coordinates treatment and transfer, and documents in the ePCR system.

Requirements include MN EMT certification, current BLS, a high school diploma or GED, and completion of DOT/ST S training within the required period. Prior clinical experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• None required. One year of clinical experience in an emergency medical setting preferred.
• EMT certified in the State of MN; BLS certification; DOT/ST S training within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Assessment, coordination, and prioritization of care of a patient upon HPMT staff arrival.
• Coordinate care to expedite treatment and transportation to receiving facility or home.
• Document patient care in the approved ePCR system and communicate with EMS, fire, and police as needed.
