Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required and seven years EMT experience.
• Current Ohio Fire & Emergency Instructor certification or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Current BLS and ACLS Instructor certifications within six months of hire.
• Experience making sound decisions affecting a work unit or team.
• Demonstrated ability to solve adaptive problems in dynamic environments.

Responsibilities

• Provides oversight of clinical course content and activities of the EMT Program.
• Schedules EMT student clinical rotations.
• Advises students on documentation techniques and provides feedback.
• Maintains accreditation standards through record-keeping.
• Assists with student instruction in EMT skills labs and competency testing.
• Establishes clinical sites and participates in policy development.
