Job summary

Elite Medical Response in Lakeland, FL is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) for full-time or part-time work. The role requires at least one shift per week with 12- and 24-hour shifts. Starting salary for full-time is $45,968 to $56,576 per year.

You will respond to calls, assess patients, provide basic life support, monitor vitals during transport, document care, and communicate with hospital staff. EMT license and BLS are required; EVOC is preferred.

Qualifications

Employment: Full-time or Part-time (requires 1 shift per week). Shift availability: 12-hour and 24-hour shifts.

Starting Salary Range (Full-time): $45,968.00 - $56,576.00 per year

Experience

• Previous experience as an Emergency Medical Technician or similar role preferred
• Knowledge of hospital procedures and protocols
• Familiarity with anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
• Ability to assess patients\' conditions and make critical decisions in high-pressure situations
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and maneuvering of patients

• Excellent patient assessment skills to quickly evaluate the severity of injuries or illnesses
