Job summary

CAREonsite, a division of Tang & Company, seeks highly motivated EMTs and Paramedics to join our on-site medical team. You will provide basic first aid through life-saving care and support workers in dynamic field environments, sometimes working alone and other times as part of a small team.

Schedule: Saturday 5:30am–3:30pm. Pay: $27–$30 per hour. Must hold an active EMT or Paramedic license, current BLS, and at least two years in an emergency setting (911 experience required).

Qualifications

• Active EMT or Paramedic license in the applicable state.
• Current BLS certification.
• At least 2 years of experience in an emergency setting (ER or 911 ambulance).
• 911 experience is required.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to on-site medical emergencies quickly and effectively.
• Provide first aid and medical care per policies and regulations.
• Assess injuries and illnesses to determine the required actions.
• Communicate with medical professionals and treatment facilities.
• Engage with clients and site personnel regarding incidents and hazards.
• Stay aware of the changing worksite environment to mitigate risks.
• Maintain high clinical standards and documentation of care.
• Assist Site Safety Managers in promoting a safe work environment.

As a CAREonsite EMT/Paramedic, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and safety of workers by providing basic first aid through life‑saving medical care. This position offers a dynamic mix of clinical and field work, where you may be part of a team or working independently.

What You’ll Do:

• Respond quickly and effectively to on‑site medical emergencies.
• Provide first aid and medical care in compliance with federal, state, local, and company policies.
• Assess injuries and illnesses to determine the necessary course of action.
• Communicate effectively with medical professionals and treatment facilities for further instructions.
• Engage with clients and site personnel regarding workplace incidents and potential hazards.
• Stay aware of the constantly changing worksite environment to identify and mitigate risks.
• Maintain high clinical standards and ensure all care provided meets quality guidelines.
• Accurately document all patient assessments and treatments.
• Assist Site Safety Managers in promoting a safe and secure work environment.

What We’re Looking For:

• Active EMT or Paramedic license in the applicable state.
• Current BLS certification.
• At least 2 years of experience in an emergency setting (e.g., ER department or 911 ambulance service).
• 911 experience is required.
• Ability to work independently and make critical decisions under pressure.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
