Job summary

Methodist Southwest Medical Center in Dallas is seeking an Emergency Medicine Specialist to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and provide direct patient care in a fast-paced ED.

The position requires BLS, EMT-P licensure, ACLS preferred, and 1 year of paramedic experience with 2 years EMT-P preferred. Night shifts follow a 12x3 schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS preferred.
• Current Texas EMT-P certification (license required).
• PALS recommended; 1 year as a paramedic; 2 years EMT-P preferred.

The Emergency Medicine Specialist assists with direct patient care to provide support services to the patients, families and other Emergency Department staff.

Your Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current Basic Life Support Certification required; Advanced Cardio Life Support preferred
• Current Texas EMT-P certification (license required)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support recommended
• 1 year as a paramedic in pre-hospital or hospital setting;2 years experience as EMT-P (preferred)
