The Mobile Integrated Health Community Paramedic partners with PMG teams for the care and management of patients engaged with Providence. The Community Paramedic will be assigned by a physician for initial assessment and directed management of clinical conditions, with tasks including collection of vital signs, basic physical assessment, gathering patient information, facilitating communication with providers, assisting with follow-up scheduling, using predetermined care plan protocols, and documenting in the electronic health record.

Required Qualifications:

• Education/Training as required to meet licensure.
• Upon hire: Oregon Paramedic - Oregon Emergency Medical Services and Trauma Systems
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 3 years Experience as a paramedic for either 911, transfer service, or Mobile Integrated Health program.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree in emergency Medical Services Management, Business Administration, or other related degree or Skills acquired through military experience as medical personnel or senior clinical nursing student.
• 5 years Experience as a paramedic in a high-performance 911 system.
• Trainer or instructor experience.
• Critical care experience.
