Job summary

CAREonsite EMT/Paramedic will play a vital role in ensuring the health and safety of workers by providing basic first aid through life-saving medical care in workplace settings. This position offers a dynamic mix of clinical and field work, where you may be part of a team or working independently, responding to emergencies and documenting patient care. Applicants must hold EMT or Paramedic licenses, current BLS, and at least 2 years of emergency experience, with 911 experience required.

Qualifications

• Active EMT or Paramedic license in the applicable state.
• Current BLS certification.
• At least 2 years of experience in an emergency setting.
• 911 experience is required.
• Ability to work independently and make critical decisions under pressure.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond quickly to on-site medical emergencies.
• Provide first aid and medical care in compliance with policies.
• Assess injuries and illnesses to determine actions.
• Communicate with medical professionals for follow-up instructions.
• Document patient assessments and treatments.
• Assist Site Safety Managers in promoting a safe work environment.
