Job summary

Medcor is seeking a full-time Onsite Health Technician (EMT or Paramedic) for our construction site clinic in Eagle Mountain, UT. You will provide patient care and support RTW programs, collaborating with Medcor and client teams.

CPR/BLS certification, valid licensure, and the ability to lift 50 lb are required. Proficiency with EMR systems and strong communication are essential in this role.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Medcor medical and operational leadership and client staff.
• Provide patient care and manage workers' compensation cases.
• Support Return to Work (RTW) program facilitation and treatment plan monitoring.
• Work closely with outside medical providers.
• Participate in daily operations at the on-site clinic and provide excellent service.
• Document care using EMR and other tools, and maintain OSHA records.

Job Overview

Medcor is looking to hire a full time EMT or Paramedic to be an Onsite Health Technician at our construction site clinic in Eagle Mountain UT.

Hours and Shift Schedule

Sunday Saturday 600am 600pm. Days and hours may change or vary based on client needs. The position will be operating a 3 days on 4 days off one week and 4 days on and 3 days off the following week alternating with another FT employee.

Responsibilities

• The positions responsibilities include collaborative work with the medical and operational leadership at Medcor local medical providers client staff with key contacts within the clients corporate structure
• The day to day role of the Worksite Health Technician includes patient care ongoing workers compensation case management Return to Work RTW program facilitation and treatment plan monitoring
• This position will work closely with outside medical providers
• A typical day in the life of an Onsite Health Technician Participate in daily operations at Medcors on site clinicProvide superior customer service to Medcors client and employeesAssessment and treatment of workplace injuries and illnesses according to Medcors Evidence Based Medicine protocols known as the Medcor Care Protocols MCPsBuild and maintain internal team relationshipsSupport for onsite employee health and wellness effortsPre employment and post offer screeningsDocumentation of care using state of the art EMR and other toolsPhysical Assessment Testing PATsCase ManagementMedical chartingOSHA record keeping
