Responsabilidades

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and identify injuries, illnesses, or emergencies.
• Provide compassionate care and emotional support to patients and families during transport.
• Monitor vital signs and adjust treatments to maintain stability and comfort.
• Lift/move patients with team assistance and transport to medical facilities.
• Communicate handover details to receiving staff and document condition and history.
• Maintain accurate PCRs and records of assessments, treatments, and transport.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and equipment readiness.
• Perform routine EMS vehicle checks and report any deficiencies.

SummaryThe Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) plays a crucial role in providing emergency medical care and transportation to patients in need.
