Job summary

Assist Ambulance is seeking Emergency Medical Technicians certified in New York to join as full-time or part-time at our Bronx or Brooklyn base. The team delivers BLS/ALS transport across NYC with union-backed benefits and paid training.

Base pay starts at $20.50–$25.00 per hour, with weekly pay raises and additional overtime opportunities. Full schedule includes 8/10/12 hour shifts and opportunities to transition to 911 work with partner facilities.

Qualifications

• Must hold NYS EMT-B certification and active EMT credentials.
• Active NY State EMT-B card required; NREMT alone not accepted.
• Must meet physical and driving eligibility requirements as stated.

Responsibilities

• Operate and be part of EMS response per NY DOH/NYC protocols.
• Attend three days of in-person pre-hire assessments for employment.
• Assist with driving duties if qualified by driving experience.
