Job summary

Kings Dominion is seeking seasonal Medical First Responders to handle medical emergencies and provide first aid to guests and associates within certified training levels and park protocols. You will respond promptly to calls, assess patient needs, and support ongoing safety operations during peak seasons in Virginia.

The role focuses on rapid response, accurate documentation, and coordinated care with park medical teams while ensuring guest safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required.
• Virginia EMT-Basic certification required.
• EVOC class II preferred.
• Virginia driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to medical calls in the park.
• Provide basic clinical and first aid care per Kings Dominion guidelines and protocols.
• Document and complete departmental paperwork with confidentiality.
• Maintain equipment and supplies in readiness for emergencies.
• Assist with patient follow up as needed.

As one of our seasonal Medical First Responders, you will be responsible for responding to medical emergencies and giving competent first aid care to guests and associates within certified training levels and in accordance with approved Six Flags Entertainment protocols.

Overview

$17.00 hour

As one of our seasonal Medical First Responders, you will be responsible for responding to medical emergencies and giving competent first aid care to guests and associates within certified training levels and in accordance with approved Six Flags Entertainment protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provides basic clinical and/or basic life support care to guests and employees including wound care, removing splinters, administering over-the-counter medications and basic health evaluations according to Kings Dominion guidelines and ODEMSA protocols.
• Promptly responds to medical calls in the park.
• Performs thorough accident investigations.
• Processes and completes departmental paperwork and maintains high degree of confidentiality.
• Cleans and maintains supplies and equipment.
• Assists with patient follow up, as needed.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid CPR certification.
• Must possess a valid Virginia State EMT-Basic (or Advanced) Certification
• Emergency Vehicle Operator Certification (EVOC) class II preferred.
• Must have a valid Virginia driver's license.
