The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) provides immediate, compassionate care and safe transport for patients experiencing medical emergencies, supporting patient safety and access to timely treatment. This role delivers basic life support interventions, communicates effectively with healthcare teams, and ensures compliance with regulatory standards. Performs other duties as assigned. All job responsibilities are to be carried out in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a state-approved EMT training program as required by the Ohio Department of Public Safety.No prior experience required; entry-level role for candidates who have completed EMT training and certification.Current EMT certification from the Ohio Department of Public Safety, Division of Emergency Medical Services; valid driver's license; current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certifications.
Prior experience in emergency medical services or healthcare setting. National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) Paramedic certification.
