Job summary

Kettering Health Network is seeking an EMT Transport Specialist for a 12-hour night shift. This entry-level role requires completion of an Ohio state-approved EMT program and active EMT certification, with a valid driver's license and BLS/CPR certifications. You will provide rapid, safe patient transport and coordinate with healthcare teams.

No prior experience is required beyond EMT training; compliance with Ohio DPS regulations and Kettering Health’s safety standards will be essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Ohio DPS requirements).
• Completion of a state-approved EMT training program.
• Current EMT certification from Ohio DPS, Division of EMS.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a state-approved EMT training program as required by the Ohio Department of Public Safety.
• No prior experience required; entry-level role for candidates who have completed EMT training and certification.
• Current EMT certification from the Ohio Department of Public Safety, Division of Emergency Medical Services; valid driver's license; current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certifications.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in emergency medical services or healthcare setting. National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) Paramedic certification.
