Saint Francis Hospital Memphis is a 510-bed acute care hospital dedicated to providing high quality, compassionate care to the Mid-South community. It offers a broad spectrum of tertiary and acute care, outpatient services, and specialty areas including Women’s Services, Surgical Services, Bariatric Center of Excellence, and Behavioral Health. Other acute care areas include Emergency Room, Critical Care, Med/Surg, and Telemetry.
Position Summary
The Licensed Paramedic acts as a member of the healthcare team to perform delegated patient care duties in the assigned department.
Responsibilities
The Paramedic is responsible for providing care to patients in accordance with recognized techniques, standards of practice, and hospital policies and procedures.
Education
Required: Graduate of an Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic training course.
Experience
Required: Paramedic experience
Preferred: experience in an emergency room
Certification
Required: Current license as EMT-P, BLS, ACLS, PALS (within 6 months of hire)
Preferred: NRP, Basic and Advanced Trauma Life Support
