Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital-Memphis is seeking an EMT to join the patient care team under RN supervision. You will assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers, and perform routine patient care procedures and treatments in the assigned area.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an EMT program and licensed in Tennessee as an EMT-Intermediate or Paramedic, with BLS/CPR certification and CPI within 3 months of hire. A sign-on bonus up to $10,000 may apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Emergency Medical Technician Program – Intermediate or Paramedic accredited program.
• Licensed in the State of Tennessee as an EMT – Intermediate or Paramedic.
• BLS/CPR Healthcare Provider certification.
• CPI required within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admissions, discharges, and transfers of patients.
• Performs routine patient care procedures and treatments per hospital policy.
• Duties may include dressing changes, wound care, catheters, feedings, and related tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Performs related duties as required.
