Job summary

Atlantic Mobile Health Training Center, part of AMH Clinical and Quality, seeks an EMT Instructor to deliver ACLS, PALS, BLS/CPR and EMT courses across New Jersey. You will lead scheduled courses, ensure regulatory compliance, maintain student records, and collaborate with AMH/AHS teams to improve patient outcomes.

Travel to off-site locations will be required; current NJ EMT Instructor credential and BLS/CPR are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred, current NJ EMT Instructor certification required, current BLS/CPR certification required.
• Recent clinical experience required; minimum of 3 years’ experience in an emergency, critical care, or field setting preferred.
• Prior educator/instructor experience required; instructor experience in EMT courses preferred.
• Unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel

Responsibilities

• Teach EMT and related courses, including ACLS, PALS, and BLS/CPR, across NJ.
• Ensure quality customer service and meet internal and external customers’ needs.
• Maintain course/student paperwork and ensure NJ OEMS EMT training compliance.
• Adhere to policies and regulatory guidelines (AHA, NJ OEMS, NAEMT) and tailor teaching to learners.
• Travel to off-site course locations as needed.
• Be punctual and professional; adhere to dress code and maintain confidentiality.
• Report student issues promptly to Lead/Coordinator; attend instructor meetings as scheduled.
• Promote collaboration and accountability to improve patient outcomes throughout the community and region.
• Establish constructive working relationships with supervisors, colleagues, and customers.
