Job summary

U.S. College in Santa Ana is seeking a part-time or substitute Emergency Medical Technician Instructor to join our campus team. Tenacity, passion, discipline and grit are valued as you help deliver quality instruction and support students on their path to a new career.

You will develop the technical and soft skills students need to secure employment, while guiding them through their educational journey and goals. Prior teaching is not required if you are an expert in the field; we offer training.

Qualifications

• Teaching experience is not required if you are an expert in the field. We will train***
• Be an EMT-II or EMT-I who is currently certified in California or be a physician, registered nurse, physician assistant, or paramedic currently licensed in California
• Have at least three (3) years of academic or clinical experience in the practice of emergency medicine or prehospital care in the last 5 years
