Job summary

RestorixHealth is seeking a full-time HBO Technician who is EMT certified to provide Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy and operate the hyperbaric chamber. Training will be provided.

The role involves patient preparation, data collection, accurate documentation, and maintaining the EMR system. Ideal candidates will have EMT certification (EMT-B/I/CC/P) or RN/LVN, BLS and CPR certifications, and a willingness to travel to local centers for coverage and training.

Qualifications

• Must have valid BLS from the American Heart Association.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association required.
• EMT-B, EMT-I, EMT-CC, EMT-P, RN or LVN/LPN certification in state of work; other advanced medical certifications considered.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients referred for treatment.
• Participate in department quality improvement and QA data collection.
• Document all care accurately per hospital policy.
• Provide therapy and hyperbaric chamber operations and maintenance/ cleaning as required.
• Recognize changes in patient condition and intervene appropriately.
• Enter all patient treatment notes into RHX EMR system.
• Comply with HIPAA Privacy Policy and Procedures.
• Adhere to Patient Safety Initiatives and Infection Control Procedures; use hospital resources appropriately.
• Travel to other local centers for coverage and training as needed.
