Job summary

Total Access Urgent Care in the St. Louis area is seeking a full-time EMT to join a fast-paced team. You will perform triage, obtain vital signs, assist with IVs and splints, and support providers across shifts from 8a-8p.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• EMT certification (EMT, EMT-B, or EMT-I) required.
• Full-time position (3 days a week).
• 12-hour shifts; no overnights; alternating weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Learn and practice more skills including IVs, EKGs, and splinting.
• Triage patients to differentiate between immediate and less urgent care.
• Take patient vital signs and communicate patient needs to providers and staff.
• Apply splints and wound dressings and prepare equipment for treatments.
• Serve as a resource for other clinical staff.
