Job summary

Total Access Urgent Care in the greater St. Louis area seeks an EMT-capable healthcare teammate for a full-time position. You will work in a high-volume setting with access to on-site X-ray and ultrasound, and participate in treatments including IVs, EKGs, splinting, and wound care.

Shifts are 12-hour daytime blocks, 3 days a week, with alternating weekends/holidays. The role offers tuition reimbursement, comprehensive benefits, and paid time off as part of full employment.

Qualifications

• EMT certification required or EMT training (EMT-B or EMT-I) as listed in requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Learn and practice more skills with a wider scope of practice including IVs, EKGs, and splinting.
• Triage patients to differentiate between immediate and less urgent care.
• Take patient vital signs and communicate patient needs and status to providers.
• Apply splints and wound dressings, prepare and maintain supplies and equipment for treatments including sterilization.
• Serve as a resource for other clinical staff.
