Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a valid EMT license in the state of Texas and current BLS certification.

• Experience in emergency medical services preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and determine necessary care, delivering emergency services using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Document patient information and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Provide care using EMT skills including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, and office tools.
• Operate an ambulance in compliance with safety policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow EMTs.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and community relations.
