Lynx EMS is seeking a Day Shift EMT to provide emergency and non-emergency medical transport to local hospitals, homes, and facilities. You will support hospital discharges, scheduled transports, interfacility transfers, and urgent responses during peak daytime hours.

The role emphasizes high-quality patient care, teamwork, and adherence to state protocols. A strong clinical background, reliable attendance, and professional communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Current State EMT Certification or reciprocity eligibility.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Strong clinical judgment and patient care skills.
• Professional demeanor with excellent communication abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and be reliable.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls promptly and professionally.
• Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in accordance with state and company protocols.
• Safely operate and maintain assigned ambulance and equipment.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and accurate documentation.
• Ensure the ambulance unit is clean, stocked, and deployment-ready at all times.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, healthcare facilities, and team members.
• Uphold safety standards and compliance regulations.

Lynx EMS provides private ambulance services for smooth, dependable patient transport to local area hospitals from various locations, including homes, emergency rooms, long-term care, skilled nursing, assisted living facilities, psychiatric hospitals, and hospice care. We’re here to ensure safe, timely transport, including discharge services from any medical facility.

Position Overview – Day Shift

As an EMT, you will play a vital role in providing both emergency and non-emergency medical transport services throughout the region.
