MedFleet is seeking an EMT-B to provide emergency and non-emergency transport, collaborate with fire/rescue services and medical staff, and ensure thorough documentation. The role emphasizes patient care, vehicle/equipment upkeep, and adherence to SOPs and regulations.
Responsibilities include attending shifts, maintaining professional appearance, acquiring/maintaining state and county certifications, and completing CME courses as required by MedFleet Clinical Services.
Providing both emergency and non-emergency transport of patients. MedFleet EMT’s will collaborate with Municipal, County, and private Fire / rescue services as well as other medical staff, patients and family members. EMT’s will take great care in the maintenance and operation of company vehicles, and shall thoroughly and accurately complete and submit all required documentation.
Works outdoors and indoors with occasional exposure to hazardous conditions and to blood/body fluids, requires respirator use, fumes/odors, extended day, and temperature changes. Frequently works with others, face-to-face contact with others with exposure to noise, mechanical equipment, and electrical equipment. Performs shift work and performs duties frequently in a mobile environment and in confined areas.
