Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to deliver Basic Life Support services for emergency and non-emergency requests, ensuring safe and timely patient transport and accurate reporting.

The EMT must work with multiple agencies and comply with New Jersey regulations, HMH protocols, and provide high-quality care in varied environments, including hazardous conditions and standby events.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Two years of BLS experience; 911 experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Basic Life Support (BLS) services for emergency and non-emergency requests in a timely, professional manner.
• Safely transport patients and complete patient care reports.
• Coordinate with police, fire, ALS and other agencies and support department tasks.
• Comply with NJ regulations (N.J.A.C. 8:40) and HM protocols.
