Sun Health Corporation is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician for Grandview Terrace in Sun City West, AZ. You will respond to emergencies, assess medical conditions, and coordinate with the Director of Resident Services to ensure optimal resident health and safety.

You will maintain logs, assist residents with appointments and transportation, and support daily operations with professionalism and a focus on compassionate care.

Formación

• Must be certified by the State of Arizona as an Emergency Medical Technician.
• Must have valid CPR certification.
• Possess good written and verbal communication skills.
• Good knowledge of medical terms.
• Must be able to physically climb stairs (up to six floors), perform CPR, lift up to 150 pounds and apply first aid.

Responsabilidades

• Know the medical policies and procedures.
• Respond to emergencies involving Residents, visitors or staff; evaluate and treat medical conditions as needed; call 911 or relatives when appropriate.
• Identify Residents needing further assistance and participate in follow-up meetings with recommendations.
• Conduct assurance checks on Residents who have not responded to assurance buttons.
• Advise Residents on medical/health issues and assist with scheduling physician appointments.
