Augusta Health in Virginia is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician to safely transport and care for Basic and Advanced Life Support patients to and from medical facilities and within the emergency department. The role may involve all aspects of patient care within the EMT scope.

Required are a High School diploma, current BLS and EMT certifications, and EVOC, with NREMT preferred. A valid driver's license and MVR approval are also required.

• Pay or shift range: $19.38 USD to $26.75 USD The pay range reflects the current compensation range for this position at the time of posting. Individual offers are determined based on directly related experience, skills, education, internal equity, and other job-related factors. Not all candidates will qualify for the upper end of the posted range.

Description

Responsible for the safe transportation and patient care of Basic and Advanced Life Support patients to and from medical facilities and within emergency department. The EMT can be involved in all aspects of patient care within their skill set.

• Able to communicate with patients and other staff – verbal, auditory, and in written form using Augusta Health documentation.

Job Requires Valid Driver’s License

• To drive an Augusta Health Vehicle, must also be 21 years old and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) must be approved by Risk Management.
• Accept VA-DMV Record
