Job summary

Augusta Health is seeking an EMT to provide safe transport and high-quality patient care for Basic and Advanced Life Support patients to and from medical facilities and within the emergency department.

The EMT will be involved in all aspects of patient care within their scope of practice, must hold current BLS and EMT certifications, EVOC, and have a valid driver's license. VA-DMV record acceptance is required and NREMT is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Current BLS certification Required.
• Current EMT certification Required.
• EVOC Required.
• NREMT Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the safe transportation and patient care of Basic and Advanced Life Support patients to and from medical facilities and within emergency department. The EMT can be involved in all aspects of patient care within their skill set.
