Job summary

Indiana University Bloomington is seeking part-time RMFRs (Recreational Sports) to provide rapid medical care, assist in evacuations, and document incidents. The role supports the safety and well-being of students, staff, and visitors across campus facilities.

These positions are on-site, work-study eligible, and require EMR/EMT and CPR/BLS certifications. Expect shifts in mornings, evenings, and weekends at facilities like SRSC and Bill Garrett Fieldhouse.

Qualifications

• General knowledge at the high school level
• EMR/EMT certification with Indiana or National Registry
• Current CPR/BLS certification (AHA/Red Cross)

Responsibilities

• Provide rapid, high-quality medical care during accidents or injuries
• Ensure timely and orderly evacuations
• Provide first aid and safety care for ill or injured participants
• Document and report accidents or incidents to staff
• Maintain certifications and participate in safety trainings
