Job summary

Illinois State University is seeking a Student Emergency Medical Responder to provide basic emergency medical services at university sporting events, concerts, and other large gatherings. Redbird EMS personnel may work independently or in teams to ensure safety and rapid response. The pay rate is $17.00/hour–$19.00/hour based on qualifications.

Required CPR and EMT certifications must be submitted with the application. The position starts in August 2026 and work hours vary with event schedules.

• Provide basic emergency medical services at university events and large gatherings, independently or in teams.
