Job summary

AMR is hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to respond to emergency and non-emergency requests, delivering high-quality care, treatment and customer service to patients. This position offers immediate opportunities as full-time or part-time with pay ranging from $18.00 to $23.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, documenting information, maintaining a safe environment, operating ambulances, and collaborating with public safety personnel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• State EMT license is required.
• State Driver’s License is required.
• BLS and NREMT certification required.
• Driving record must comply with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test must be completed.
• Some healthcare work experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and determine appropriate care; deliver emergency services.
• Document patient information and treatment while protecting confidentiality.
• Maintain a safe, clean, stocked environment for patients.
• Utilize EMT skills with communications, equipment, and procedures.
• Operate an ambulance in accordance with safety policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
