Job summary

AMR is hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to respond to emergency and non-emergency medical requests, delivering high-quality care and customer service to patients. The position is located in Osborne, Kansas, with a starting salary of $31,356 per year, and credit for experience where applicable.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, care delivery, documentation, and maintaining a safe, stocked work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Kansas EMT Certification or Kansas Eligible.
• CPR certification required; NREMT certification preferred.
• State Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Pass Physical Ability Test (PAT) is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and determine required care; provide emergency medical services.
• Document patient information and treatment, maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and stocked environment for patients and equipment.
• Utilize EMT skills for communications, equipment use, and procedures.
• Operate ambulance in accordance with safety policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate with public safety personnel and fellow EMTs.
