Lantern Hill by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Security and Emergency Services Officer II (EMR/EMT) to patrol our gated community and lead emergency response. The role includes relief staffing at the gatehouse and responding to both routine calls and emergencies.

Qualifications include being at least 18, valid driver's license, CPR for Healthcare Providers, and EMR certification with possible higher licensure. Per diem scheduling and hourly pay with EMT premium apply.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Prior security or EMS experience preferred.
• Proactive, vigilant and detail-oriented with a commitment to quality.
• CPR for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
• Current EMR certification; higher licensure acceptable but EMR must be obtained within 30 days.

Responsabilidades

• Perform regular patrols of the property, provide relief staffing for the gatehouse, and respond to emergency and routine calls for service.
• Enforce all traffic and parking regulations.
• Respond to calls for service from dispatch and security.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide care using basic interventions.
• Follow up on reports of missing items, theft, vandalism, and other potential criminal activity.
• Utilize local police, fire, and EMS during emergencies.
• Complete thorough incident reports using the online system.

Location: Lantern Hill by Erickson Senior Living

Join our team as a Security and Emergency Services Officer II (EMR/EMT) at our gated retirement community. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing our Security and Emergency Services programs and providing outreach within the community.

• Compensation: Between $19.00 - $23.00 per hour. Additional $1.00/hour with an EMT certification. Commensurate with experience.

How you will make an impact

What you will need

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Prior experience in Security and/or Emergency Medical Services is preferred.
• Proactive, vigilant and detail-oriented approaches with a strong commitment to quality, efficiency and effectiveness.
• Current CPR for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
• Current Emergency Medical Responder certification. (Higher level certification/licensure is acceptable as a condition of hire, however, new hires will be required to obtain EMR certification within 30 days).
