Interim HealthCare in Novi, MI is seeking an experienced and compassionate Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) for a School Setting in South Lyon, Michigan. This position is responsible for the care of special need students in the school setting while maintaining a presence for order and management of the school body.

Responsibilities:

• Responding quickly and efficiently to medical emergencies within the school setting.
• Working with the general school staff to promote order and authority.
• Assessing situations and providing appropriate medical treatment.
• Administering first aid, CPR, and other emergency medical procedures.
• Maintaining accurate records of all medical treatments.
• Integrating with the school staff as part of the team.

Requirements:

• Valid EMT certification.
• Able to lift 125 lbs from the ground.
• Prior experience working as an EMT in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
