Position Overview: The EMT's primary goal is to provide safe and compassionate ambulance and medical transportation, respecting patient dignity and ensuring community safety.

Essential Job Functions:

• Attend orientation and training sessions, maintain EMS certification.
• Provide out-of-hospital care and safe transport following protocols and medical direction.
• Lift and carry patients and equipment safely.
• Communicate effectively with team members, patients, and other agencies.
• Perform equipment checks and vehicle maintenance.
• Respond to emergencies and assist in various situations including natural disasters and hazardous material incidents.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of EMS operations and equipment.
• Ability to learn and adapt through training.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Pass drug screenings and background checks.
• Minimum age 18, high school diploma or equivalent, valid CPR and EMT certifications.

Work Environment: EMS operations occur 24/7 in all weather conditions. Personnel must be prepared for diverse and unpredictable situations, maintaining professionalism, safety, and compassion.
