Job summary

Qualifications

• Meets local standards for hiring, training and eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Responds to emergency medical calls and performs assessments.
• Provides emergency and non-emergency medical procedures on-site and in transport.
• Transfers patients to medical facilities and documents care provided.
• Maintains vehicle and equipment readiness and reports discrepancies.
• Complies with EMS protocols and Rural/Metro policies.
• May mentor EMT-B trainees.
