Qualifications

• EMT certification required and state credential compliance.
• 12 months of related experience.
• Strong knowledge of clinical procedures and emergency care.
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, peers, and patients.

Responsibilities

• Attends emergency medical requests and provides advanced paramedical assistance.
• Performs initial assessment and first aid per protocol.
• Prepares patients for transport and ensures regulatory compliance.
• Delivers direct patient care as needed in each case.
• Mentors lower level techs and students as assigned.
• Adheres to departmental policies, safety, and quality standards.
• Inspects equipment for serviceability and safety compliance.
• Completes and transfers patient care information per procedures.
• Conducts alcohol and urine drug screening for hires as directed.
• Assists with TB skin testing, flu shots, and Hep B vaccinations.
• Provides CPR/First Aid/Bloodborne Pathogens training.
• Coordinates hearing conservation program as required.
• Tracks Hazard Assessments as required.
• Assists with OSHA Recordkeeping (300 Log).
