Job summary

Global Medical Response seeks Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) for immediate part-time openings in Evansville, IN. You will respond to emergency and non-emergency requests and deliver high-quality care, treatment and customer service to patients.

Requirements include EMT certification, high school diploma or GED, valid Indiana driver’s license, CPR/BLS, and ability to pass an agility test. Night/weekend shifts may qualify for shift premiums.

Qualifications

• EMT certification required or ability to obtain national certification within 1 year.
• CPR/BLS certifications required.
• State driver’s license required.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency and non-emergency medical care and patient transportation.
• Document patient information and treatment while maintaining confidentiality.
• Maintain safe, clean, and stocked environment for patients.
• Utilize EMT skills for communications, equipment, and procedures.
• Operate ambulance in compliance with safety policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate with other health and safety professionals and EMTs.

Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

IMMEDIATELY HIRING! EMT PART-TIME Opportunity

$17.00 - $20.30 per hour! Employees who work night, weekend, or evening shifts may be eligible for additional shift premiums.

Must have a valid EMT certification to be qualified for this position.

Were hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) that will respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance and deliver high-quality care, treatment and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities

• EMTs provide an assessment of patients, determine necessary care and deliver emergency services by utilizing appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
• Document patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
• Take pride in providing a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Use appropriate EMT skills to provide care including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment and tools.
• EMTs operate an ambulance in conjunction with applicable company safety policies, and traffic laws related to the operation of emergency medical response vehicles.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow EMTs.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• State Drivers License
• National EMT certification or ability to become nationally registered within one year
• CPR/BLS certifications
• Driving record in compliance with company policy
• Pass Physical Agility Test
• Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
