Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring EMT Basic (EMT Basic) full-time, with hourly rates starting at $18.00 DOE. The EMT will respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance and deliver high-quality care and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, documentation, maintaining documentation confidentiality, ambulance operation, and collaboration with health and public safety teams to ensure safe care delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• State Driver’s License.
• National or State EMT certification.
• CPR/BLS certifications.
• Driving record in compliance with company policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient assessment and determine necessary care; deliver emergency medical services and high-quality patient care.
• Document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Utilize EMT skills to provide care including communications, medical equipment use, cleaning procedures, office equipment and tools.
• Operate an ambulance in accordance with company safety policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel and with fellow EMTs.
