Baptist Ambulance in Selmer, TN is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) for McNairy County. The EMT will respond on ALS and BLS ambulances, drive safely between locations, and provide essential BLS patient care while documenting transports per SOP.

Qualified applicants have a HS diploma or GED, TN driver's license (or reciprocity if licensed elsewhere), BLS certification, and must be physically able to perform duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• State of Tennessee Driver’s License.
• If licensed in another state, must obtain TN reciprocity.
• If in a compact state, please provide a copy of your National Registry card and current EMS License.
• AHA Basic Life Support Certification (BLS).
• Physically able to perform job duties.

Responsibilities

• Functions as EMT on ALS and BLS ambulances as directed.
• Safely operates vehicle to/from pick up and drop off locations.
• Provides BLS patient care and movement.
• Documents all transports completely per company SOP.
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
