A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN (EMT)

As an EMT, you are vital to our company. You respond to emergency and non-emergency calls 24/7. You drive various emergency vehicles in all conditions, following GPS, maps, and directions, maintaining communication with dispatchers and other responders. You provide direct patient care within your competencies and protocols, often lifting, carrying, and transporting patients independently. You interact professionally with outside agencies and provide excellent customer service. You complete detailed reports and documentation promptly.

You maintain vehicles and equipment in readiness, perform daily checks, and assist with re-supply and decontamination. You also help with housekeeping and other tasks. Serving those in need brings you satisfaction, and you are eager to advance your career to become a paramedic.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN EMT

• High school diploma
• Certified as an EMT in Texas
• CPR certification
• Valid Texas driver's license and insurable record
• Ability to lift up to 125 lbs. independently

Previous emergency care experience is preferred but not mandatory. Do you communicate effectively in English, handle high-stress situations, think quickly, show compassion, and work well in a team? If yes, you may be perfect for this EMT role!

WORK SCHEDULE

This position offers various shifts, including 8-hour, 12-hour, 24-hour, and 48-hour shifts.
