We’re hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) who will respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance and deliver high-quality care, treatment, and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment of patients, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
• Document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Utilize appropriate EMT skills to provide care, including communication, medical equipment use, cleaning procedures, and office tools.
• Operate an ambulance in accordance with safety policies and traffic laws related to emergency response vehicles.
• Collaborate professionally with all health and public safety personnel and fellow EMTs.

Other Responsibilities

• Participate in community programs to promote AMR’s image and establish community relations.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Kansas and Missouri EMT Certification
• CPR certification
• NREMT certification preferred
• State Driver’s License
• Driving record compliant with company policy
• Pass Physical Ability Test (PAT)
