Job Summary

We're seeking a dedicated EMT-B to join our emergency response team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in providing basic life support, assessing patient conditions, and working collaboratively with paramedics, dispatchers, and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency calls and provide basic medical care
• Assess patient conditions and determine appropriate treatment
• Administer CPR, oxygen, and other basic life support procedures
• Safely transport patients to medical facilities
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, hospitals, and team members
• Maintain equipment, vehicles, and supplies in ready condition
• Document patient care and complete reports accurately

Qualifications

• Current EMT-B certification (state and national)
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• CPR certification (AHA or equivalent)
• Physical ability to lift, carry, maneuver patients and equipment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Calm under pressure and quick decision-making ability

Preferred Skills

• Bilingual (Spanish, etc.) a plus
