Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; EMT-B certification in MA in good standing.
• EMT-B license and clean driving record preferred; computer systems experience a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; ability to follow protocols and policies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient care in line with clinical policies and statewide protocols.
• Assess injuries/illnesses and provide basic life support on scene and during transport.
• Attend to patients in a courteous, professional manner.
• Operate ambulance in accordance with safety rules, policies, and laws.
• Complete vehicle/equipment checklists and maintain cleanliness and readiness.
• Accurately record patient care and submit required PCR documentation daily.
• Provide documentation of patient interventions in the pre-hospital setting.
• Communicate effectively with minimal supervision and exercise sound judgment.
• Maintain understanding of EMS principles at the basic level.
