Excelsior Ambulance Service is seeking a full-time EMT-B for our on-site team in Lake City, FL. You will provide basic life support, assess patients, monitor vitals, and assist with 911 responses and interfacility transports.
You will help maintain readiness of vehicles and equipment, restock supplies, and document care following protocols. The ideal candidate has EMS experience, an NREMT EMT-B certification with Florida eligibility, and a valid EMT license with CPR/BLS.

This full-time, on-site EMT-B role is based in Lake City, FL. The EMT-B is responsible for providing basic life support, including patient assessment, vital sign monitoring, airway management, bleeding control, and safe patient movement and transport. Daily tasks include responding to emergency and non-emergency calls, assisting with 911 services, interfacility transports, and specialty or event-related medical coverage, while following established medical protocols and documentation standards. The EMT-B collaborates with paramedics, dispatchers, and healthcare facility staff to ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care. The role also involves maintaining vehicle and equipment readiness, restocking supplies, and participating in ongoing training to support Excelsior’s high clinical and operational standards.
