Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an EMT to respond to emergencies and non-emergencies. You will check ambulance readiness and lead the team during ambulance calls.

In addition to exceptional emergency care, the ideal candidate will possess an Illinois EMT License and a valid driver’s license. The role offers a pay range of $16.52 to $26.76 per hour along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Overview

The Arrow EMT responds to emergency and non-emergency ambulance requests. Has assigned daily and weekly duties, such as cleaning of ambulances and equipment, to complete during work hours.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions

• Responds to emergency calls to provide efficient and immediate care to the ill and injured.
• Checks and monitors ambulance readiness.
• Clearly communicates crew and vehicle position at all times
• Cleans ambulances, utility vehicles, and crews quarters daily.
• Provides direction to EMT's while on ambulance calls.
• Transports patients in wheel chair van when needed.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $16.52per hour - $26.76per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
