Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years’ industry experience in area of expertise.
• Utah EMT/AEMT/Medic license with EMS instructor endorsement.
• Two years’ industry experience in area of expertise.
• Teaching experience in a secondary or post-secondary institution preferred.
• Outstanding communication, interpersonal, professional, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with instruction and training within applicable program in accordance with curriculum and standards for subject matter being taught as assigned by the lead instructor or program director
• Teach effectively using a competency-based curriculum
• Evaluate the knowledge and competency of students and provide accurate reports under the supervision of the lead instructor and program director
• Maintain a productive and safe learning environment consistent with Tooele Technical College policy
• Promote job readiness, encourage professionalism and good work habits, and assist with helping students find work-based learning opportunities, related employment, and/or continued education
