Salary: $29,200.00 base with scheduled shift overtime of $17,325.00, totaling $46,482.00 per year. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Time Off, and Retirement. This position is based in Pharr, TX and focuses on emergency medical services.

Day-to-day responsibilities

• Operate ambulance equipment and respond to radio transmissions to provide timely and efficient medical care.
• Provide essential support in managing injuries or sudden illnesses using both basic and advanced treatments (first aid, CPR, and administering injections or oxygen as appropriate).
• Navigate a specially equipped emergency medical vehicle within the designated service area and transport patients to medical facilities in accordance with Regional Advisory Council Guidelines.
• Commit to continuous training to stay up-to-date with the latest medical procedures and best practices.

Skills and knowledge

• Knowledge of administrative and medical procedures.
• Ability to apply logic and reasoning to evaluate strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions or approaches to problems.

Qualifications
