Global Medical Response is hiring an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-A) for a full-time role in Alabama. The EMT-A will respond to emergencies and provide high-quality medical care and patient service, starting at $21.00 per hour with DOE.

Responsibilities include assessing patients, delivering care, documenting treatments, and maintaining a safe, well-stocked environment. Prior AEMT certification and CPR/BLS are required, along with a valid driver’s license and relevant experience.

We’re hiring Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMTs) that will respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance and deliver high-quality care, treatment and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities:

• EMTs assess patients,determinenecessarycareanddeliveremergencyservicesbyusingappropriatemedicaltechniqusandequipment.
• Document patient information,conditionandtreatmentwhilemaintainingconfidentialityandpatientrights.
• Take pride in providing a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• UseappropriateEMTskills to provide care including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, officeequipmentand tools.
• EMTs operate an ambulance in conjunction with applicable company safety policies, and traffic laws related to the operation of emergency medical response vehicles.
• Work collaboratively and professionally withall alliedhealthand public safety personnel and your fellow EMTs.

Other Responsibilities:

• Participate in community programs to maintainAMR image and establishstrong community relations.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• State Driver’s License
• National or State AEMT certification
• CPR/BLS certifications
• Driving record in compliance with company policy
• Pass Physical Agility Test
• Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
