Job summary

Jan-Care Ambulance, Inc. is seeking Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to join our team delivering safe, compassionate ambulance transport and critical care in WV and surrounding areas. You will work within a culture focused on patient care, service, and community safety.

Essential duties include direct patient care, documentation, equipment checks, and cooperation with dispatchers and medical staff. We value readiness, professionalism, and the ability to perform under stress in a team setting.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid EMT-8 certification with state OEMS.

Responsibilities

• Attend orientation and EMS operations training.
• Provide out-of-hospital care and safe ambulance transport.
• Lift, carry, and balance weights as required.
• Communicate effectively with patients, co-workers, and responders.
• Read and document patient information in state OEMS systems.
• Maintain EMS equipment and vehicle readiness.
• Respond to callbacks and assist other personnel.
• Maintain professional appearance and comply with company policies.
