Job summary

Community Memorial Hospital, Inc. in Redfield, SD seeks an EMT-B to provide rapid emergency medical services on a PRN/on-call basis. The role requires maintaining current certifications and staying in town while on call to respond to EMS events.

The ideal candidate will be capable of delivering BLS services, working as a team with partners and outside agencies, and upholding patient confidentiality in high-stress environments.

Qualifications

• EMT-B certification and ongoing licensure as required for your level of training.
• Must be able to provide at minimum Basic Life Support (BLS) services.
• Must live in Redfield or stay in town when on call.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and work as a team with partner and outside services.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality emergency medical service in a rapid, safe, efficient manner.
• Maintain ambulance equipment and perform fueling/restocking after runs.
• Ensure patient confidentiality at all times during care.
• Work as part of a team with partners and outside agencies (fire, law enforcement, disaster teams).
